A New Chapter: Leadership and Learning. Prudential Beneficial Insurance Launches CEO’s Book Club

Prudential Beneficial Insurance is thrilled to announce the launch of the CEO’s Book Club, a unique initiative designed to inspire and empower management and its leaders through the transformative power of reading. The inaugural meeting will take place today the 30th of September 2024 at the Prudential Beneficial Insurance head Office, with a warm welcome from our CEO, Brian Nkwenti.

The CEO’s Book Club aims to create a vibrant community where members can expand their views, promote a reading culture, foster team cohesion, reduce stress, foster mental wellness and build resilient leadership skills. In an era where “Readers are Leaders,” this club will not only enhance individual creativity and confidence but also encourage open discussions that break down barriers and drive innovation.

Meetings plan will be a relaxed roundtable format that invites everyone to share his or her thoughts and insights. With discussions conducted in both English and French, our diverse membership will ensure rich exchanges of ideas. Members will rotate roles, including discussion leaders and note-takers, to keep the experience fresh and engaging. In line with the captions ‘Health is Wealth’ and ‘Knowledge is Power’, the CEO’s Book Club provides an avenue for nurturing constructive and informed decision making skills and self-development for a balanced leadership.

The book club will focus reading material on a variety of genres, including leadership, business and personal development, African storybooks, and inspiring autobiographies. The first book on the reading list is “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie. This classic will set the tone for our discussions.

Do not miss this opportunity to join a community of visionary leaders committed to going beyond in their professional journeys.
